The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
